actually since all of them can be put together they are probably the same scale so we should just set a scale instead of a size
i suggest .5 scale since hina will be 124mm

>Currently studying Diploma in Games Design and Development. :) We are to work in groups to make a 3D game using Maya and Panda3D engine this year and our group's badly behind time. Next year, we'll be using Unreal engine, which works better with 3DS Max, the reason why I need to learn it.

I haven't heard much about the Panda3D engine, but learning how to deal with the Unreal engine seems to be invaluable in video game development these days. I see it popping up in more and more of the video game releases.
I have two friends who are learning to be programmer engineers. They have been working on an idea for a video game ever since one of them went through a class where the goal was to create a game with the Nintendo DS code. Once they get it more fleshed out, I'm supposed to help with the artwork for the game and website.

>As for the scissors, did you draw it in? The orientation seems a bit off so I'm not sure which part corresponds to which. I'm guessing what you are trying to say is to delete the small 'block' above that slanted bit, leaving only the slanted blocks to connect between the blades and white cylinders together.

Pretty much. I did draw them in Photoshop. I used the existing pieces for that section for the size and shape. The main idea was to keep the same size that is created by that piece, and get rid of the extra bends. I didn't get a chance to put it together before I submitted it, so I'll go ahead and do that today.

I finally took a picture of the scissors with the posted pieces. While I was putting the piece in question together, I remembered there was another way to put them together to make it easier. The front and back could be in the shape of the original. The way to do this is to put all the glue tabs on the front and back piece. The side should then be a long strip that can have pressure applied to glue it to all the glue tabs. This would be another way around the problem, while keeping the original shape. If I need to draw it out to clarify this, let me know. Without the glue tabs, the piece would resemble a caterpillar with little butterfly wings.

Here is how those two templates look when folded. Because of the magnification, the left one looks more haphazard in the picture than it does to the naked eye.

This awesome sculpture is a Frabjous! It is made of 30 identical pieces and was created by George W. Hart, a professor at Stony Brook! And he is so cool that the template for this is in his site for free!!!

Ok I'll use this thread to teach all the car related things you can do without the need of special tools, things like controlling the levels of coolant and changing your own oil.

Flat tire change Partner!5g79RrnVLE 29/10/2009(Thu)02:59:00 No.340413
I've decided to begin with something easier, I have big problems on translating some of the pieces needed and parts of the car so let's begin with:

Flat tire change...
>>
Flat tire change - Tools Partner!5g79RrnVLE 29/10/2009(Thu)03:06:54 No.340416
Normally all the needed tools come with the car, but anyway.

Jack - Usually comes with the car (At least in EU)

A Wrench of the size of the lug nut - Usually comes with the car (At least in EU)

Spare wheel - What are you going to put if you don't have one of theese? Air?
>>
Flat tire change - 1 Partner!5g79RrnVLE 29/10/2009(Thu)03:17:14 No.340423
File: Tapacubosnuevos_ib4f.jpg - (63.72kb, 800x600)
Whenever you get a puncture, you have to take out the flat one and put in the spare tire (NOTE: Everytime you inflate the wheels remember to inflate this one too, to keep it in perfect status)

So let's bgin

First you have to take out (If your car has) that plastic thing covering the wheel, it's easy, just get something thin and metallic between the wheeel and the cover and pull the cover, Once we've done that, soften the lugs, but do not take them out or the whole car will fall.

>>
Flat tire change - 2 Partner!5g79RrnVLE 29/10/2009(Thu)03:24:45 No.340429
After this use the jack to lift the side of the flat tire, when the car has been lifted enough (practically when the tire is not touching the ground) take out the lug nuts and take out the old flattened wheel and put the spare one or the new one. Tighten the nuts and put down the car, after that just tighten a bit more the lug nuts and youe done
ready to go
