I always have had problems with monocycles. Because of conservation of angular momentum, the wheel rotates one way, and you rotate the other.

I think this works just like a segway. So it will not have so much problems with conservation of angular momentum. But it will be an awesome fail if this thing is really fast. A small bump might make an epic crash.
